More About Alyssa Moss

I have been blessed to be a member of the mental health field since 2006 and as a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2015. I also hold the Certified Child and Adolescent Trauma Professional (CATP) credential.  I have worked in various settings and programs including a juvenile detention center, community services board agency (intensive in-home, outpatient therapy, hospital liaison, therapeutic day treatment supervisor), clinical assessor, behavioral health hospital assessor, private practice outpatient therapy, clinical supervisor and public school mental health clinician.

I thoroughly enjoy helping clients reach their fullest potential. I specialize in general issues to include depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, behavioral issues (ODD, Conduct disorder), PTSD, mood, crisis intervention, life stressors/adjustments, loss and grief, anger, impulsivity and communication/social skills. I like to utilize behavior-based therapies such as CBT, REBT and DBT to assist clients. Meeting clients where they are is a focus for sessions.

During my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, local traveling to include supporting small business and reading/learning about history.
